The Lord said to Noah, “Go into the boat with your whole family; I have found that you are the only one in all the world who does what is right.” Genesis 7:1

Trusting in God is one’s determination decision and pursuit. To trust in God involves faith and belief. Of course by all means, it is by the grace of God that one has this trust on Him; God of almighty. It is by the grace of God to have such desire, the desire of heart for this pursuit for God.

Noah was a good man for what he did right and acceptable in the eyes of God. He had no faults; the bible in Genesis says so, and he lived his life with God in fellowship thus God spared his life with his family when he sent the flood. His trust won him righteousness in God’s sight.

Trusting in God is just like a child before he really starts to reason, believing and trusting that his father is the only person who loves him very, very much. No second thought would he jump from above, knowing for sure that he will not miss as he jumps but caught in the hands of his father, a person whom he trusts totally and wholeheartedly. This is then, a matter of trust. No doubt yet believe.

Let us learn from a child the lesson of trust for Jesus says, “Look at the lilies in the field, not even King Solomon with all his wealth had clothes as beautiful as one of these, God who clothes them, here today and gone tomorrow burnt up in the oven. Won’t he be all the more sure to clothe you? How little faith you have! Matthew 6:28-30. Jesus Christ is referring all these to material things.

Therefore, the lesson of trust would only be learnt by looking at a child and observing the wild flowers in the field and none others. Trust in Him as you would  your own father while a child.

‘Trust in God’ who can never let you down. Trust and continue trusting your whole life. It’s worthwhile! Alleluia
