Sick people were carried out into the streets and placed on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. Acts 5:15

It was said that the Old testament was the shadow of the New Testament. A shadow reflects the actual and the original. Nobody likes to be someone’s shadow but it is just a reflection.

When Jesus Christ was resurrected from the death, he appeared to his disciples, saying, “Believers will be given the power to perform miracles: they will drive out demons in my name. ” Mark 16:17

After Pentecost, Peter filled with the Holy Spirit witnessed boldness for Christ. He preached with convince that God added to their number. Many miracles and wonders were being performed among the people by the apostles. They used to meet together.

The news of the acts of the apostles, were spreaded around Jerusalem. Crowds of people came by to listen to Peter and seek for healing.

Sick people were carried out into the streets and placed on beds and mats expecting healing, miracles and wonders. Peter filled with the Spirit, carried the anointing from above all those even when his shadows fell on them as he passed by.
