Be patient until the Lord comes, as a farmer is as he waits for his land to produce precious crops. James :5:7
Patience is the fruit of the Holy Spirit. A person who is patient is always enduring. Patience is a fruit of the Spirit that grows under trial.
Abraham was a man of patience for he had been waiting upon God’s promise to fulfill that his descendants would be like that stars in heavens and the sand on the shore.
Joseph, son of Jacob had been patiently waiting for his two dreams to become reality. Both Abraham and Joseph were in trouble in their individual situation. In such circumstances both of them learnt to endure solitude. Endurance brings God’s approval and his approvals create hope, (Romans 5:3-4) which made their hopes turned true. Take them as examples of patient endurance under suffering then.
For Job’s patience, the Lord with his mercy and compassion, provided for him at the end too. Elijah, the prophet was earnestly and patiently prayed that there would be no rain, and no rain fell on the land for three and a half years. Once again he prayed and the sky poured out its rain and the earth produced it crops.
All these were the effects of patience and endurance under trial. Therefore, be patient and pray always and wait upon God patiently, God who is faithful and ever merciful would provide answer in hi time.
Your patience is not the ability to wait, but the ability to keep faith and prayer while waiting.
