But the wisdom from above is pure first of all; it is full of compassion and produces a harvest of good deeds; it is free from prejudice and hypocrisy. James 3:17
Wisdom is supposed and should be a virtue that we should process and pray for to live a rich life. Rich in abundance of graces from above.
King Solomon ruled as king on Israel after the death of his father, David. He prayed for wisdom to rule his people who were uncountable. The Lord appeared to him in his dream and was pleased with his request and granted him wisdom which he had prayed for, with wealth and long life as well. God blessed him to be the wisest king than any king had before or after as recorded in the Bible.
The queen of Sheba heard of king Solomon’s fame and she traveled to Jerusalem to test him with difficult questions. She asked him all questions that she could think of. He answered them all; there was nothing too difficult for him to explain. Queen Sheba personally heard Solomon’s wisdom and saw the palace he had built and all the things, the organization of his officials and his management in the palace left her breathless and amazed.
The queen said to Solomon, ” What I heard in my own country about you and your wisdom is true! I did not believe until I came and saw for myself. I had not heard of even half of your wisdom. You are even wiser than people say. ”
Proverbs said, ” Do not abandon wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will keep you safe. Getting wisdom is the most important thing you can do. Love wisdom, and she will make you great. Embrace her, and she will your crowning glory. ” Proverbs 4:6-9
