Our Lord, our Lord, your greatness is seen in all the world! Your praise reaches up to the heavens; it is sung by children and babies. You are safe and secure from all your enemies; you stop anyone who opposes you. Psalm 8:1-2

The Bible teaches us to praise and thank God in all circumstances; in good time and also when in bad. It is always says, nothing good is too good and nothing bad is too bad. No news is good news. All things work out for good for those who love God.

In ancient Israel, the Israelites did not fully know God. But they experienced goodness and richness in their lives when they harvest their farms and cattle in their flock with their young.

The Israelites used to praise and sing to their Heavenly Father and said, ” When I look at the sky, which you have made, at the moon and the stars, which you have set in their places – what is man, that you think of him; mere man, that you care for him? Psalm 8:3-4

Therefore, let us praise and thank God who have so blessed Israel, the Israelites are his chosen people, who are our good example in giving thanks and praise. Let us learn from them, so that we would be like them. Chosen people, blessed nation and abundant life.

God is glorious, worthy of all praises.
