There was once a man who had two sons. The younger asked the father to divide his property between himself and his elder brother. After the father had divided the property among themselves, a few days later, the younger son took his money and left home to a far country which where he wasted his money on reckless living. Then a several famine spread over that country and he was forced to work at a farm taking care of the pigs without anything to eat.
Being lost on loose living and luxuries, he came back to his senses to go home to his father, just to work as one of his workers.
While he was still a long way from home, his father saw him. The father who had been longing and expecting him home, heart filled with pity, ran quickly, threw his arms around him, kissed him welcoming home with great joy. The father called his servants to serve him restoring his dignity, as the master’s son.
The prize Calf was kill then, for a feast. The father gave a celebration because this son of his was dead, but now he was alive; he was lost, but now has been found and was so much worth for the feasting.
Come. let us celebrate for he is risen, yes, he is risen. From death to life, being lost now found, yes, let us celebrate. Alleluia !
A son is a love that lasts a lifetime.
