A branch cannot bear fruit by itself; it can do so only if remains in the vine. John 15:4
Jesus said he was the real vine and his Father was the gardener. This real vine was growing in the garden of the Heavenly Father. The Father took care and looked after. He broke off every branch in Jesus that did not bear fruit, and he pruned every branch that did bear fruit, so that it would bear more fruit.
We are all the branches in Jesus, so we must remain united with him. A branch cannot bear fruit by itself. It must be connected with the vine.
So the same with us, if we do not live in Jesus. Apart from Jesus, the Lord, we won’t be able to bear fruit of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God who helps and enables us to live an abundant life – life in all its fullness. John 10:10
Remain united to Jesus, and he would remain in us. Whoever remains in Him, and He in us would bear much fruit; for we could do nothing nothing without Jesus. He is the source of our strength and life. Living a life with Jesus as his disciples would also be remarkable in; faith, hope, love, justice, prudence, fortitude and temperance.
Moreover, remain and be united in Jesus bear more fruit as mentioned in Galatians, fruit of the Spirit; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control. This is said to be the full amour of God against Satan, the power of darkness.
We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided.
