A person is put right with God by his actions and not by faith alone. James 2:24
Abraham because of his faith, God accepted him righteous. His actions in faith and his faith in action won friendship with God. By his action, Abraham offered his only son, Isaac on the altar.
Faith alone without action is dead. In her actions, Rahad, a prostitute welcomed the two Israelite spies, hid them secretly under some stalks of flax and helped them to escape by a different road. Both actions and faith, Rahad was put right with God. She and her family were saved. Rahad heard of the miracles of Egypt and of the Red Sea. She believed in the God of Jacob.
Joshua, the successor of Moses was the person who entered the promise land. God the almighty promised always to be with him and gave him victory. Joshua invaded the land bringing with him the younger generation of the Israelites together with Caleb. Rahad and her family continued to live in the land. She was one of the ancestors of the family of David.
Faith with action, you don’t have faith and wait. When you have faith, you move.
