Do not judge others so that God will not judge you, for God will judge you in the same way as you judge others, and he will apply to you the same rules you apple to others. Matthew 7:1-2
Jesus came to the world not to be its judge, but to be its savior. Only God who was the creator could be our judge, for we are his creatures. He loves equally and he judges fairly.
Jesus said, ” Do not judge others, so that God will not judge you, for God will judge you in the same way as you judge others, and he will apply to you the same rules you apply to others. Why, then, do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, and pay no attention to the log in your own eye?
He also told his disciples the parable of a judge who neither feared God nor respected man. And there was a widow who kept coming to him pleading for her rights. For a long time the judge refused to act but at last, he helped her out to get her rights. And the Lord continued, ” Listen to what that corrupt judge said. Now, will God not judge in favor of his own people who cry to him day and night for help? ”
Paul in his letter to the Romans said, ” Who are you to judge the servant of someone else? It is his own Master who will decide whether he succeeds or fails. And he will succeed, because the Lord is able to make him succeed. None of us lived for himself only, none of us died for himself only. If we lived, it was for the Lord, and if we died, it was for the Lord we died. Why then you passed judgement and despised your brother? All of us would stand before God to be judged by him. Every one of us would have to give an account of himself to God on the last day, day of judgement.
We have no right to judge others by human standard. Only God is our judge, for to jealous eyes, all rivals are wrong.
If you start judging people, you will not have time to love them.
