Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence. Hebrews 4:16
We have a high priest who was tempted in every way, that we are, but did not sin. Let us be brave, then, and approach God’s throne where there is grace to receive mercy and find grace to help us just when we need it.
Life has its up and down and anxiety. Life does not warn us of uncertainty coming our way. Our loving Father knows and cares for all his children, in time of turbulence, hold firmly to the faith we profess, to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy and find grace to help us when we need it most.
When life is overwhelming, we can pray in our distress and bring our concerns to him; Father in heaven for he cares. He has given a great High Priest – Jesus, the Son of God who has gone into the very presence of the throne of grace. God, who chose him to do his work and sent to be the High Priest of the faith we profess sympathized, knowing all our weakness and failures.
He who was humble and devoted made his prayers and requests with loud cries and tears in his life on earth. He was obedient and made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation in whom we can approach and drew strength with confidence, the faithful Son declared to be the high priest, in the line of succession to Melchizedek.
Be gracious, be kind.
