Make good use of the present time, because these days are evil. Ephesians 5:16

These days are evil but we are at peace with God because Jesus had over-come the world. Consider, moreover  the time that Christ died for us : when we were still sinners and weakened by sin. God works in us a marvelous transformation, without feeling or noticing anything. In a more tangible way we have a model in Christ, the Son of God, who gave himself out of love for us, as the way, the light and life.

Reject everything which shames us and is done only in darkness as to be aware of the light which was given to us and to let it shine through our behavior and take no part in futile works of darkness. Train ourselves to do what pleases the Lord and behave as children of light; the fruit of light are kindness, justice and truth in every form.

To be more sensible and responsible in our lives. Because these days are evil : that means that if we cannot judge, choose, make a personal decision, the very current of daily events will keep us in mediocrity or will lead us to evil. Everything changes when a believer, a person ” awakens ” and takes daily or weekly time out to discover what is God’s will for him, in the time and circumstances in which he lives by paying attention to how the wise and responsible persons are.

Time is more valuable than money because time is irreplaceable, so know this : no depraved, impure or covetous person who serves the ” god money ” shall have part in the kingdom of Christ and of God. ” Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead that the light of Christ may shine on you. ” Ephesians 5:14 to make good use of the present time.

Do not allow even a minute to pass without making the best use of it.
