Morning after morning, he wakes me up to hear. Isaiah 50:4

Yahweh has opened the ear of his servant, the prophet Isaiah to listen like a disciple, to be able to transmit his word and to encourage on behalf for him. So Isaiah listened every morning and he kept his ears opened. He had not rebelled, nor had he withdrawn. The Lord Yahweh had granted him a teachable heart and taught him to speak. To sustain those who are tired, we must be taught by God : The true prophet is a man of prayer, open to the Spirit of God. ” No one knows the secrets of God except his Spirit and we have received this Spirit in order to know what comes from God ” (1 Corinthians 2:11)

Defeated men suffer the evil they deserve and it was for your sins that you were sold, for your crimes that your mother was dismissed (Isaiah 50:1). God is not speaking to saints but to sinners telling them that he forgives their sins.

Man belongs to God and he finds his freedom in obeying him since man is not created to enjoy freedom apart from obedience and commitment. He saves us through the suffering of the innocent. And through the willing sacrifice of the one who accepts to take the sin of the world upon himself. Through his punishment, we are made whole; by his wounds we are healed. It was the will of Yahweh to crush him with grief and the anguish he suffered, through him the will of Yahweh is done.

Obedience makes us progressively stronger.
