You must discern the will of God, what is good, what pleases, what is perfect. Romans 12:2
The Christian is asked, above all to give himself to the fulfilling of God’s plans. His worship and duties to God do not consist principally in what he does on Sundays (no matter how important it may be but in his daily conduct. We are surrounded by so many customs, advertisements, fashions, plans and human pursuits that rob and deprive us of our personality : our liberty.
Paul stressed how each of us has a particular function in the church. There is diversity of gifts, but the Spirit is the same. There is diversity of ministries but the Lord is the same. There is diversity of works but the same God works in all (1 Corinthians 12:4-6).
By the mercy of God, give oneself as a living and holy sacrifice pleasing to God and do not be conformed to the world where we live but rather be transformed through the renewal of the mind to discern the will of God, what is good, what pleases and what is perfect. God demand not only good deeds but still more a complete transformation of our person.
There is one Lord, one faith and one baptism. One God, the Father of all, who is above all and works through all and is in all in baptism makes us new creatures with a renovation of the mind enlightened by God, himself, the Father almighty.
God says trust him and he will show you.
