From the mouths of children and infants you have found perfect praise. Matthew 21:16

Those words; you have found perfect praise were addressed to God in the Psalm. Thanks to scientific progress, the universe reveals the glory and the beauty of God to men. But in becoming man, the Son of God has placed men above all the material creation and he has underlined the fundamental equality of all people.

When Jesus entered Jerusalem, all the city was disturbed. Then he went into the Temple, the blind and the lame also came to him and he healed them.

The chief priests and the teachers of the Law saw the wonderful things Jesus had done and heard the children shouting in the temple area, ” Hosanna to the Son of David! ” They became indignant and Jesus answered them, ” Yes, Have you never read this text : From the mouths of children and infants you have found perfect praise? ” (Matthew 21:15-16)

O Lord, our Lord, how great is your name throughout the world! In the heavens above, your glory is praised in chants from the mouths of children and infants. You have build a rampart against you foes to thwart their vengeful plots and hostile acts. When I observe the heavens, all wrought by your hands, the moon and the stars arrayed in a vault – what is man that you should be mindful of him, the son of man that you should care for him? Yet you have made him a little lower than the angels; you have crowned him with glory and honor. You have given him dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feat. (Psalm 8:2-7)

What you praise you increase.
